Morning and Afternoon Session
Karate is about change.
The kata Seisan is the basic conditioning and technique kata of Seibukan Shorin Ryu Karate. All basic exercises, kihon renshu, zenshin kotai, and ippon kumite were taken from the kata Seisan. Master Zenyro Shimabukuro, student of Master Chotoku Kyan and founder of Seibukan Shorin Ryu Karate, and his son, Hanshi Zenpo Shimabukuro, President and Chief Instructor of the International Okinawa Shorin Ryu Seibukan Karate Association used Seisan to teach basic conditioning and the techniques in a new way. We will discuss and practice these techniques along with the bunkai drills which are designed for two person sets.
